Group meeting 15.03.10 at 12:30 pm

As the others couldn’t make it, myself, James and Laura met up in the editing suites in order to make some minor changes to the clip. We have carried out the changes that Ken had suggested to us which were to leave the sound a bit later into the start of the clip, edit the title to ‘COVENTRY PEOPLE’, shorten down the slow motion of the dual carriageway as it was to long and added in another clip following it which means that we are now ready to export this onto the 3 different mediums; DV Tape, CD and a DVD.

I am very pleased with our outcome as the documentary has followed the brief due to it being exactly three minutes long as well as it being based around the theme of a ’Profile of worker’. The group have considered the audience, the context and it’s distribution.

We have put together a brief structure for the presentation which we will go into more detail tomorrow with the whole group present. On Wednesday, the group plan to go to the room that we will be presenting in to carry out a small rehearsal to ensure that we are well prepared for Thursday.

Below is the CD cover that I have created which consists of an image of a taxi cab at night. I have edited it using Photoshop and given it a sketchy effect followed by a change in hue to a blue tint.
